Monday 1 July, 2024 09:00 - 14:30 Year 6 Transition Day MEA Central, 60a Lytham Road, Fallowfield, Manchester M14 6PL 09:00 - 14:30 Year 6 Transition Day will take place on Monday 1st July 2024 On Transition Day, your child will be undertaking a variety of sessions around MEA Central. Your child will need to make their own way to school and will spend the day in their new form groups. Students should attend wearing their Primary School PE Kit and training shoes or pumps. On arrival Students should make their way to the Sports Hall via the car park area, where they will be greeted by their Head of Year, Form Tutor and Pastoral Manager. Parents should then make their way to the theatre for a 15-minute presentation from Mrs Reynard. Break and Lunch Times During morning break, our school caterers will provide drinks and a snack. Students will have their lunch at school, we will provide this free of charge. Your child can bring a packed lunch if they wish. End of the school day Students will finish school earlier than our current students at 2.30pm. If they need to wait for older siblings, then they can remain in the theatre to be collected. If your child is unable to attend the transition day, please contact the school office on 0161 499 2736 or email transition@meacentral.org.uk.
